Sir Noel Christiansin, O.B.E., Ph.D., B.F.D., L.M.N.O.P, was born Noel Thayne Robin Christiansin on September 20th, 1918 to Cheryl and Markus Christiansin (originally from Weasbury), into the quaint village of Heatherton, Northumberland in the United Kingdom.

After many years of schooling, including Eton College and six years at Oxford “three for a degree and three for an education”, the author began working with various notable archeologists of importance, such as Drs. Dacey, Cronk, and Giese of the famed Moscow Institute of Paleoarchaeology, Dr. Eyring of Finland, and Dr. Eckert of the Archaeologie Suisse Universitat.

On August 10th, 1972, after the initial discovery of the Tîrgu site, with its importance in world history, and preliminary works published, the author was knighted by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The author now resides part of the year in his home in the Southwest of England... his other home being the rest of the world.
